Many will agree that there is elasticity in Christianity today. People, in this case, talking about ministers of the gospel are promoting themselves other than preaching the Gospel of the Cross. This creates nostalgia in some of us when remembering “heroes of faith” that one admires both past and present.

This German Brother who shook Africa with the uncompromising Word of God followed by miracles and wonders, made a lasting impact to many who fell under his ministry. He lived the life of faith.

Pastor Ngidi hailed from rural KwaZulu-Natal in Umzinyathi area, turned the Apostolic Faith Mission ministry upside down. His ministry was full of miracles right across the colour line…God is no respector of persons! He believed in fasting and prayer….having fasted 40 days several times.

He is the man of God who are applied faith….”seed faith” as he used to call it. He built Oral Roberts University from scratch. The University not only taught theology but included all different faculties found in any University.
If you want to live faith life, study these heroes of faith and see their dedication and “selflessness”…..and their commitment to God. Focus yourself on faith to the Almighty God and Christ Jesus Crucified.
